e.l.f. Studio Contouring Blush & Bronzer Powder - review

Hi!

So I love blusher and bronzer. And I am always on the look out for the best possible products for the best possible price. And this little duo from e.l.f. is definitely one of my favourite products. It is affordable, has good-looking packaging, and contains genuinely great powders. What's not to love?

I have the shade 'St. Lucia' and it only costs £5!

Firstly, the packaging of this product is very nice. It comes in a sleek, matte black case, and is very similar to that of Nars. This packaging also features a good sized mirror and therefore makes this product perfect for traveling with. The casing also feels very sturdy, and unlikely to break.

The actual powders are really lovely. The blusher is a pale peachy-pink colour and has gold shimmer running through it. The pigmentation is perfect so that it adds a subtle glow to the face. The bronzing powder is also warm toned, again with the gold shimmer within it. When applied to the hollows of the cheeks, temples, and under the jawbone, it does do a brilliant job at warming up your complexion. However, if applied to heavily, it can look a bit orangy. That is the dangers with warm toned bronzers.

As for the lasting power, when used in conjunction with a good base, and/or a setting spray, they are likely to last a good few hours on the skin. I also believe that the shade of this duo will suit many different skin tones, but if not, then there are many other shades, including a matte version, and a cream version.

Overall, I think that this little compact is wonderful! The powders themselves are beautiful, and the casing is designed to be so travel friendly. At only £5, it is such a good bargain as well.

Pros of this blush & bronzer duo-
- Beautiful powders, versatile and high quality
- Affordable at only £5
- Packaging is strong and good looking

Cons-
- Not easy to get hold of in the UK as it is only available online
- Bronzer can be slightly orange looking if applied too heavily
